The Bronx Zoo is bringing the holiday tradition back with amazing light displays that will cover and flicker acres of the zoo. Visitors will walk-through the zoo and experience animated light shows, custom Asian lanterns, wildlife-themed LED displays, and more.
The LED technology will allow it to be incredibly energy-efficient, where the visitors are going to enjoy this green” Holiday experience.
There will be 50 animal lanterns, 5 lantern safaris, representing different geographies from around the world. Other entertainment and activities will include ice-carving demonstrations, caroling, train rides, holiday-themed music performances, costume characters, souvenirs, stilt walkers, and season treats including hot chocolate, smores, and much more.
The tickets for the Bronx Zoo Holiday Lights are priced at $22.95 for children, $29.95 for adults, and $28.95 for seniors. Holiday Lights hours will be 5 – 9 pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 5 – 10 pm on Friday and Saturday.
